Sono una coppia di youtuber siciliani, fidanzati anche nella vita, e rispondono al nome di Sofia Scalìa, 21 anni, e Luigi Calagna, 25: questi nomi non dicono nulla a chi non ha figli teenager, ma per bambini e ragazzi “Sofì e Luì” sono dei veri e propri miti. Il loro canale You tu be conta più di 3 milioni di iscritti, ma per capire le dimensioni del fenomeno pensate che dal 2017 sono stati scelti come protagonisti di una serie tv su Disney Channel, “Like me”, che hanno linee di abbigliamento e giocattoli dedicati e addirittura un album di figurine, che hanno scritto un libro (che è rimasto per settimane al primo posto in classifica su Amazon, copie polverizzate in libreria) e che conducono un programma sempre su Disney Channel, “Best challenger“.

Infine, ciliegina sulla torta, hanno un film in uscita: “Me contro te – La vendetta del signor S“, che sarà nelle sale dal gennaio 2020.

Ma cosa c’è dietro il successo di questi giovanissimi youtuber che piacciono non solo ai piccoli ma anche ai loro genitori, tanto da essere premiati dal Moige per i contenuti educativi del loro canale?

La spontaneità, la freschezza e la pulizia: nel loro canale non ci sono parolacce nè atteggiamenti sopra le righe, ma solo divertimento, sfide (le famose “challenge”) e vlog, video quotidiani nei quali raccontano la loro vita.
